Load Testing

Load Testing

During the load tests, water is gradually filled into the bag to simulate a working load environment. The structural integrity, hydraulic stability, and general performance of the system under test are observed. After the test, measurements are compared against international standards. All tests are conducted in accordance with SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea), LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association), and national authority protocols. Upon completion, clients are provided with a comprehensive test report and certificate—often required by class societies and port authorities.

Makstelar’s load testing services are not limited to land-based operations—they are also carried out at sea. We perform testing for floating cranes, mobile lifting systems, piers, docks, and offshore structures. Our teams ensure rapid setup, safe water loading, and controlled execution on-site. Night testing and emergency test deployments can also be arranged if needed.

Every load test conducted under the supervision of our experienced engineers provides clients with time and cost advantages. Minimizing risk, ensuring operational safety, and fulfilling legal obligations are core principles of Makstelar’s load testing services. Whether it's a crane commissioning or an annual inspection, Makstelar Group is your reliable partner for all stages of load testing.
