In 2022, a total of 12,384 hectares of forestland burned in 2,043 separate fires in Türkiye. Makstelar Group has produced a new product that will solve this important problem we face every summer. Helixpool, which is produced entirely with domestic resources, was specially designed for firefighting helicopters that play an active role in combating forest fires. Thanks to the portable firefighting water pool, remote level control can be made and it can be installed at the closest point to the fire due to its easy transport. In this way, it enables the helicopters to increase the number of sorties.

Sealing and Impact Testing

Helixpool Portable Smart Water Pools have successfully passed tests for all problems that may be encountered in helicopter operations, especially impact and leakage during the production stages. They have met international standards and have been certified.

Smart Systems

With digital transformation, human safety and cost-effective solutions have become increasingly prioritized. By making mobile fire water tanks smart, a new system will be implemented that can serve as a global example in firefighting operations.

Helicopter Compatibility

As an alternative to areas lacking natural water sources or where the water source is located far from the fire zone, these easily deployable mobile water tanks enable rapid and direct firefighting response. Helicopters are no longer dependent on a single fixed water source and can instead utilize strategically placed mobile reservoirs.

Water-Filled Structure
The tank does not collapse or lose its shape (flotation stability) as the water level drops.

Solar Panel

As an optional feature, solar panels can be attached to smart boxes integrated into the water tanks. Thanks to IP65-rated connectors, these solar panels can be easily connected and provide a continuous power supply during operations, enhancing operational capability in the field.

TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The smart device includes an integrated temperature sensor that continuously monitors the internal temperature of the circuit board in real time. Operating temperature data of processors and other electronic components is recorded and can be remotely accessed. Thanks to the high-precision sensor that performs measurements every 10 seconds, the system ensures enhanced device health monitoring and increased operational safety.

HUMIDITY SENSOR

FLASHER

The strobe light located on the top of the device housing is designed to help pilots clearly identify the tank location during nighttime operations. The flashing pattern of the strobe can be customized via the web interface under the tank settings section. Its light behavior (on/off duration) can be adjusted remotely through the interface to meet operational requirements.
